Eligibility Criteria
- The applicants should have 3-5 years of experience in the field of environment or climate science reporting.
- The applicants should be able to provide a letter of support from the editor of a news outlet (print, audio, audio-visual, and website) to publish their stories emerging from the boot camp.
- The applicants should be able to produce at least two climate stories after the Boot Camp.
- The participants must be able to walk several hours per day in mountainous settings while carrying some weight.
The Boot Camp is funded by the Spark Grant Initiative of the World Federation of Science Journalists and members of any science journalists’ association in the respective countries are encouraged to apply.
